How It Works — The Classroom Vault
Step by Step

From a Classroom Day to a Senior-Year Milestone.

The Classroom Vault is built to be simple for schools and unforgettable for students. Here's exactly what happens — from the moment you reserve to the day your students open the capsule as seniors.

1

Reserve Your Classroom's Vault

Your school, teacher, or PTA/PTO completes a simple online reservation and pays the $250 program fee. We confirm within 1–2 business days and prepare your kit.

What we need from you
  • School name & address
  • Teacher name & contact email
  • Grade level (K–4) & approximate student count
  • Destination high school — your best guess is fine
2

Receive Your Kit & Teach the Lesson

Your kit arrives ready to use — no materials to buy, no teacher prep. Students are guided through age-appropriate activities in about one to two class periods.

Inside the kit
  • The physical Vault capsule, labeled for your class
  • Illustrated, print-ready K–4 lesson plan
  • Student activity & reflection pages
  • Teacher guide with grade-level modifications
3

Seal It and Send It Back

Once your class fills the capsule, you seal it with the included instructions and attach the prepaid return label. Drop it at any UPS location — and from here, we take over completely.

4

We Store It Safely for the Full Term

Every capsule is logged, assigned a unique Capsule ID, and stored in our climate-controlled, secure facility — tracked against your students' projected graduation year.

No annual fees, no check-ins, nothing required from your school until delivery approaches.

5

We Coordinate Senior-Year Delivery

About 12–18 months before your students' senior year, we contact the destination high school to coordinate a delivery date — ideally around a meaningful senior milestone.

The capsule arrives with
  • An opening ceremony guide for school staff
  • A welcome letter explaining the program
  • Parent notification templates
6

The Opening Moment

After 10+ years, your former students open their capsule together. The drawings, the notes, the handwriting, the teacher's name on the cover. It's not just a fun activity — it's a genuine milestone they'll talk about at their 20-year reunion.
