We Store It Safely
The sealed capsule ships back to us on a prepaid label. It's logged under a unique Capsule ID in our records system and stored in our climate-controlled, secure facility — tracked for the full program term with no recurring fees and no check-ins needed from your school.

When your students reach senior year, we coordinate delivery to their destination high school — complete with an opening ceremony guide. What began as a classroom afternoon becomes a milestone they'll carry for the rest of their lives.

Yes — completely. The $250 covers the physical capsule, the lesson plan, climate-controlled storage for the full program term, professional recordkeeping, and senior-year delivery coordination. There are no annual storage fees, delivery surcharges, or hidden charges of any kind.
We plan for this. Our records include district-level contact information so we can redirect delivery to the appropriate successor institution. We strongly recommend designating your school district's administrative office as a permanent backup contact when you reserve. We handle school closures, consolidations, and name changes as part of our standard delivery coordination.
That's completely fine — most K–4 families don't know yet. Provide your best guess at the time of reservation (a nearby high school in your district works). You can update the destination high school at any time using our online records form. We recommend reviewing your records when students reach 7th or 8th grade.
The lesson plan is designed to be completed in approximately one to two class periods. Teachers can spread it across multiple sessions if preferred. The kit arrives with everything — lesson plan, student activity pages, and all instructions. No additional materials or advance preparation are required from the teacher.
Yes. The lesson plan includes grade-level modifications for kindergarten through 4th grade. Younger students focus on drawing and simple self-expression. 3rd and 4th graders engage in more written reflection and letter-writing. Every grade gets an age-appropriate experience with the same emotional core.
We initiate contact with the destination high school approximately 12–18 months before the projected senior year. We coordinate a delivery date, ship the capsule securely, and include an opening ceremony guide. The receiving school decides how to facilitate the opening — we provide resources for everything from a quiet classroom moment to a full senior event.
Yes. We can issue formal invoices for PTA/PTO reimbursement purposes upon request. We also accommodate purchase orders and check payments — simply contact us after submitting your reservation form and we'll take care of the paperwork.
